Dresser offers the Style 2275 gas stop valve changer that allows for removal of an old valve, re-threading of the service pipe (if necessary), and replacement with a new valve. This procedure is performed safely, under pressure with no escaping gas. The Style 2275 has been utilized by gas utilities time and time again because of its versatility and reliability in accomplishing a valve change-out. The Dresser valve changer can be used with Dresser valves, as well as most other open port isolation valves in the nominal pipe sizes indicated. There’s no need for special tools to use this product, all components are included.
