Dresser Style 193 Qwik-Tap service connectors (A) replace a pipe saddle while providing a firm around-the-pipe, non-slip anchorage with permanent gasket seal; (B) replaces corporation stops and other fittings and provides a 30-second compression connection to the service line; (C) taps the main with a clean diameter hole retaining the cuttings inside the fitting until flushed out in the ditch (no independent tapping device needs to be carried to the job, applied to the pipe and removed after the tap is made); and (D) has a built-in shut-off valve, operable at any time to shut off the water at the main. And, the Qwik-Tap service connector can be installed under normal main operating pressures - by one person using ordinary tools.
