Dresser Texsteam is committed to providing solutions to its customers that enables them to meet their Green initiatives and comply with regulatory requirements. The company offers environmentally-clean methods for injecting chemicals into a line under pressure through the used of its solar powered and ZERO BLEED™ pumps.
Solar Solutions
Dresser offers a suite of solar powered chemical injection pumps capable of working in the harshest of environments and up to 4 days without sun. All solar powered pumps offer continuous injection for even dispersion of chemical and overall lower chemical usage and costs.
The SolarLite pump is an economical solar chemical injection pump offering high pressure shutdown to prevent motor overload and providing low battery protection. Available options include Temperature Thermostat for methanol applications, On/Off Switch, Keyed Lockout Tagout Switch and Remote Communication for motor status.
The iCIP pump is a solar chemical injection pump capable of pumping 2 quarts to 185 quarts per day. It is based on Dresser Texsteam proven 2200 series pump design, utilizing its packing and plunger technology. The pump is able to remotely monitor pump performance and view pump volume, battery voltage, charge amps, motor amps, motor speed and analog and digital inputs and outputs. The iCIP pump is certified and approved to CSA standards for the entire system.
The HiCIP pump is the high-volume, high-pressure version of iCIP pump. It is a solar pump with the capacity of 798.6 quarts/day, delivering up to 44% more volume per head than the iCIP® pump. This pump does the work of 2 - 3 lower volume pumps thereby reducing cost of ownership while maintaining the same small footprint. The HiCIP pump is certified and approved to CSA standards for the entire system.
ZERO BLEED Solutions
Vented emissions account for 30% of the methane emissions, with pneumatics accounting for 15% of total annual methane emissions in natural gas production. This is equivalent to 0.25% of the total annual natural gas production. For customers using natural gas to drive their chemical injection pumps and are looking to eliminate emissions, capture the exhaust gas for use in other applications or stop wasting money on lost natural gas, Dresser has developed ZERO BLEED pumps. Its line of Texsteam pneumatic pumps with the ZERO BLEED capability are Series 6100, Series MX-5 and Series MX-3. These pumps allow the exhausted gas to be routed to a pre-determined location for recovery, treatment or use for another application without stalling the pumps.
