| Q | What type of grease can I use in my actuator? | |
| A | AEROSHELL Grease 6. General purpose airframe grease. Composition: Microgel thickened mineral oil base. Inhibited against corrosion and oxidation, it features outstanding low temperature torque properties and unusual resistance to water. Useful temperature of -40°F (-40°C) to +250°F (+121°C). Used primarily in plain and anti-friction bearings on general aviation aircraft. It is also used on railroad brake systems where an AAR M-914 product is specified and in other non-aviation applications requiring excellent low temperature lubrication properties. Qualified under MIL-G-24139A specification. Consult IOM for lubrication instructions. (AEROSHELL® is a registered trademark of Shell Corporation.) |
