Effort addresses increased global traffic to product and service pages and caters to growing worldwide interest in Dresser offerings
DALLAS (April 5, 2010) – With a focus on its growing international customer base, Dresser, Inc. (www.Dresser.com), a leader in highly-engineered infrastructure products for the global energy industry, has launched an upgraded seven-language version of all its Web content. The new Web site makes it easier for customers around the world to view detailed information about the company and its products in their native language.
“We are finding a growing number of energy customers using the website for pre-purchase activity,“ said Mike McCalley, Corporate Director of Marketing for Dresser. “By providing information in multiple languages, we are providing a best-in-class, user-friendly experience to our valued customers as they research and specify products and services.”
Information on Dresser and all of its brands – Dresser®, Consolidated®, Masoneilan®, Roots®, Waukesha®, Wayne® – is now available in International Spanish, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Russian and Brazilian Portuguese, as well as English. With customer satisfaction and ease of use top-of-mind, this new upgrade will enable approximately 90 percent of Dresser customers to access the site in their first or second language.
Part of a longer term strategy to support customers in fast-growing markets, the site upgrade was a significant undertaking done in partnership with TransPerfect, a well-regarded best practice provider of language and business services. “A project like this, which included all six Dresser brands, reflects Dresser’s and TransPerfect’s commitment to serving their customers on a global scale with the best language expertise and technology available” noted TransPerfect Co-CEO Liz Elting.
