WAUKESHA, Wis. – Dresser Waukesha, a leading manufacturer of natural gas engines that deliver clean, cost-effective power, has named Scott Nolen vice president of power generation. Nolen will be responsible for managing and growing the company’s global power generation business.
“Power generation represents an important growth opportunity for Dresser Waukesha and I’m delighted that Scott will be focusing his experience and perspective on increasing our market share in this category,” said Brian White, interim president, Dresser Waukesha.
Nolen comes to Dresser Waukesha from Cameron Compression Systems in Buffalo, N.Y., a provider of industrial air and hydrocarbon compressors. There he was global marketing manager responsible for traditional marketing, channel management and creating the strategy for new product development. Previously, Nolen had been with Rolls-Royce Energy based in Mount Vernon, Ohio, where he concurrently served as director of power generation marketing and as product director for two of the company’s turbine lines. He began his career in 1989 with Dresser Rand, where he held a series of progressively responsible positions that included serving as area sales manager in the Middle East.
Nolen has an MBA in Finance and International Management from the University of Rochester Simon School and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Vermont.
