Additional $10 Million in Contracts Secured for Ningde, Yangjiang and Fangchenggang 1000 MW CPR Nuclear Power Plants
HOUSTON (September 13, 2010) – Dresser Masoneilan® today announced it has secured an additional $10 million in control valve contracts from China Nuclear Power Engineering Company (CNPEC) for China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group’s Ningde, Yangjiang and Fangchenggang nuclear power plants.
Dresser Masoneilan will supply manufacturing, installation and support services for the valves installed in the secondary side of the power plant. Dresser Masoneilan has been serving the nuclear power industry in China for more than 15 years and has an installed base of products in the 12 nuclear power units currently operating in the country, as well as 20 other nuclear power plants currently or soon to be under construction. The newest addition is the
Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Plant, which began construction in July 2010 and is expected to start commercial operation in 2015.
